With the rapid development and display of technology and electronic products, the requirements for the functions of electronic products are also increasing. So, what are the functions and uses of ceramic capacitors? Many people only know one thing but not the other. Below, we will introduce the role of ceramic capacitors.
Ceramic capacitors:
1. DC blocking: Its function is to prevent DC from passing through and allow AC to pass through.
2. Filtering: This is very important for DIY, and the capacitors on the graphics card are mostly used for this purpose.
3. Rectification: Opening or closing a semi closed conductor switching element at a predetermined time.
4. Timing: When capacitors and resistors are used together, the time constant of the circuit is determined.
5. Bypass (decoupling): Provides a low impedance path for certain parallel components in an AC circuit.
6. Tune: Systematically tune circuits related to frequency, such as mobile phones, radios, and televisions.
7. Temperature compensation: To compensate for the impact of insufficient adaptability of other components to temperature and improve the stability of the circuit.
8. Coupling: As a connection between two circuits, it allows AC signals to pass through and be transmitted to the next level circuit
9. Energy storage: storing electrical energy for release when necessary. For example, camera flash, heating equipment, and so on.
Nowadays, the energy storage level of some capacitors is close to that of lithium batteries, and the energy stored in one capacitor can be used for a phone for a day.
